Albert Nerenberg
Albert Nerenberg studied English Drama at McGill University where he formed an improvisational theatre group, “Theatre Shmeatre.” He has worked for the Montreal Gazette, has been a talk radio host and has made and acted in a number of films. He has been recognized by the Cinémathèque Québecoise as a film innovator.
He directed “Let’s all Hate Toronto” and founded the World Stupidity Awards which is sponsored by the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. He is the inventor of ‘Laughercize,’ a system of joy-inducing exercise that works off natural, spontaneous human laughter. It combines laughter and exercise and will be the subject of his presentation.
He currently works as a CBC laughologist and as a columnist for the Montreal Gazette.
