The Canadian Club of the Yamaska Valley invites you to enter into the spirit of Christmas by both singing and listening to many of the favourite songs and carols of the season, on Monday December 1st at 2:00 p. m. at the Auberge West Brome.  Our special guest to help us do that will be Francine Poitras, who was the very first soloist in the Cirque du Soleil.

Since coming to the Eastern Townships in 2003, she has taught music and has performed with l’Orchestre de Musique de Films de Sherbooke, for le Musée de Beau Arts de Sherbrooke, as well as other local venus, including Bromont’s St. John’s Cultural Centre.  In February 2013, the Canadian Government recognized her accompoishments by awarding her q Queen Elizabeth II diamond jubilee medal.  She presently resides in Granby where she has created a warm and intimate atmosphere in her “Maison qui Chante”. Where she teaches piano and voice to children and people of all ages.
