"Why Equador"

    Stan Neil attended Granby High School, Waterloo Trade School, the Institute Technique de Vaudreuil, Mt. Claire State University in New Jersey and attended sessions at McGill.  He studied drafting, mechanics, mechanical design and heavy equipment operation.

    Among other things, he has worked in the engineering office at Bruck Mills, then at SNC on a Texaco project and at the Point Lepreau Nucleur plant in New Brunswick.  He served as Manager of Buildings, Equipment and Transportation for the District of Bedford School Board.  Upon returning SNC, he worked on a major Venezuelan oil project.  In the mid-eighties he joined Paramax Electronics which was established by the Federal Government to oversee the construction of twelve frigates for the Canadian Navy.  In 1993, he incorporated ‘Maison d’Enseignement S. E. Neil Inc.’ and did government recognized management training courses including ISO certification and CSST related courses.


    The September meeting of the Canadian Club of the Yamaska Valley is a “Free Day” and there is no charge for guests.  For other meetings during the year, the guest fee is ten dollars.
