"Zen in Action: a Surgeon Reveals his Life Philosophy"
Internationally Famous Surgeon To Address The Canadian Club of the Yamaska Valley “Zen in Action: A Surgeon Reveals His Life Philosophy” will be the topic of Dr. Yosh Taguchi when he speaks to the Canadian Club of the Yamaska Valley at the first meeting of the new season on Monday September 14th. Senior urologist at the Royal Victoria Hospital, and a former Program Director of Urology at McGill University, Yosh is noted for his remarkable work on behalf of his patients. He has had an impressive research career in the area of prostate cancer and has trained numerous urologists to excel in their profession. He is internationally famous for his books, “Private Parts: An Owner’s Guide to the Male Anatomy”, “The Prostate: Everything You Need To Know about the Man Gland” and “Zen in Action: A Surgeon Reveals His Life Philosophy”. It is in this last book that, with courage and determination, he pulls back the curtain of his youth in the internment camps, and allows us to see the effect of those years on a young Japanese boy.
This meeting will be held at the Auberge West Brome, 128 Route 139, West Brome, Quebec at 2:00 p.m. It is a free day, open to the general public. Non members are welcome to subsequent meetings for a $10 fee but are encouraged to become members for an annual fee of $35 or $60 for a couple.
